Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-14
These terms form an agreement between you and 9362-3833 Québec inc. for the use of AI Bookkeeper Canada. By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
AI Bookkeeper Canada is bookkeeping software for Canadian businesses. It records the information you and your team enter or upload, proposes categories and sales-tax treatment, and produces reports from a double-entry ledger.
We may change, add or remove features. We will not remove your access to your own records without notice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your credentials secret, and for the activity of anyone you invite to your business file.
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory and have authority to bind the business you represent.
3. Your data
You keep all rights in the records and documents you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process them to provide the service.
You may export your records at any time from Settings → Data export.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, upload malicious files, attempt to access another customer’s data, probe or interfere with the service’s security, or resell access without our written agreement.
5. Not accounting, tax or legal advice
The service is a tool, not an accountant. Figures, categories and tax amounts it produces are estimates to be reviewed by you or your professional advisor before filing anything with the Canada Revenue Agency, Revenu Québec or any other authority. See the Accounting & AI Disclaimer.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages and events beyond our control may interrupt it.
7. Fees
Where a paid plan applies, fees, billing period and transaction limits are those shown at the time you subscribe. Taxes are extra where applicable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or penalties or interest assessed by a tax authority. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
9. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or breach of these terms, after notice where reasonably possible. On termination you may export your records; we retain what we are legally required to retain.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any right you have to bring proceedings where you reside.
